The Italian Travel Bags
Bric’s is the story of a successful “Made in Italy” brand in the world of luggage and travel bags, combining elegance and functionality with a constant commitment to innovation.
The models in the Bric’s luggage collections are designed and handcrafted by designers who have contributed to the company’s success, embodying its mission: to create high-quality products inspired by Italian artisanal tradition and designed to enhance the travel experience, all at an affordable price.
The History of Bric’s
The company was founded by Mario Briccola in 1952 in Olgiate Comasco, in the province of Como, under the name “Industria Valigeria Fine.” After just six years, the first industrial plant was established, marking the brand’s success on a business level, not just locally, thanks to the increased capacity of “produzione.Negli” In the 1980s, the company began its process of international expansion while maintaining its status as a family-run business, establishing itself as a cutting-edge manufacturer of handcrafted items inspired by tradition, with an eye always on the future.
In the 1990s, Bric’s was born from the family name and quickly became a global brand, a leader in the luxury leather goods and luggage sectors. It was during this period that the company opened four distribution centers in Europe: Bric’s GmbH in Germany, Bric’s UK in England, and Bric’s France, followed in 1995 by its first standalone store. In the 2000s, the brand established itself in the United States, where Bric’s’ Italian design and craftsmanship became a must-have among fashion designers, executives, and influencers in New York and Hollywood. Today, Bric’s is a world-renowned brand, with a presence in over 35 countries and an annual production of more than 1 million items, including suitcases, travel bags, backpacks, tote bags, purses, and accessories.
Timeless elegance and practicality.
Bric’s has successfully interpreted the needs of travelers throughout the ages, using its sophisticated yet simple and innovative style to usher in a new concept in luxury luggage—one that combines art, functionality, and durability with excellent value for money. A hallmark of Bric’s is its Italian spirit, which is also reflected in the names of its classic collections—Bellagio, Siena, and Pisa—which complement its more modern lines, such as Bric’s B|Y.
The use of high-quality materials, attention to detail, and continuous investment in research and innovation remain the cornerstones of Bric’s production, a tradition passed down through three generations.
The Classic Collection
Bric’s Bellagio is the brand’s iconic retro-style line, perfectly embodying its creative concept: to create high-quality, elegantly designed luggage that ensures the utmost comfort while traveling. Accessories and travel bags from the Bellagio Collection are made of Makrolon polycarbonate, with trims in genuine vegetable-tanned Tuscan leather (untreated with chemicals). This combination ensures the utmost in lightness and portability, as well as resistance to impacts, scratches, and rain.
