Alviero Martini 1A Classe was born from an idea by its founder, Alviero Martini, a window dresser and free-spirited display designer with an artistic background and a great passion for fashion and travel. It was during one of his trips to Moscow that the idea was born to launch a collection of bags and suitcases featuring map-inspired patterns—the now-famous Geo Classic fabric—which laid the foundation for a new concept of travel. The iconic Prima Classe line of luggage, backpacks, and bags—an expression of unmistakable Italian creative style—became famous worldwide, particularly in the United States.
Thus, Alviero Martini S.p.A. was founded in 1991 in Milan, where it still maintains its headquarters in the Navigli district. In 2003, the company was acquired by the Final S.p.A. Group, continuing its growth in Italy and around the world. Today, Alviero Martini is an internationally recognized brand in the high-end leather goods and luggage sector, featuring elegant Prima Classe beauty cases as matching sets, as well as accessories for women and men, with brand boutiques and retailers worldwide.
